Best Travel Safety Tips for Every Traveler   by Jaymes F. Franks

Not that a lot of people travel to other countries. At least not very often, and having your safety in mind is a very important thing. You don't need to fret about the world turning upside down, but it does help to be informed of some travel safety tips to help you enjoy and have fun the most on your travels.

Know Authorities

It's a wise idea to know what the authorities in a place look like and what they don't look like. It is very easy to find a number of police and notice their uniforms. If a person begins demanding an ID from you and they are not in uniform, then you should be dubious and go find a real authority person. You will also notice how many of them are in the area. You will always feel safer and confident when you know that they are around because they are ready to help you.

Prevention is the Key

Preventing your bags and luggage from being stolen is easier than stopping someone after they have taken your things. Common sense should be your best friend and taking time to keep your things from being easily stolen will do the most good to keep theft from happening.

Have a backup plan

Bad things happen, so you need to have backup plan in place and you will have much lesser problems. You make a copy of your passport and a backup of any electronics you are taking with you (that includes your mobile phone). Having something taken away sucks, but if you can get a new smartphone and still have 90% of everything on it, then it isn't as awful as it could be.

Follow your intuition

You are on vacation out looking for a holiday fun. If something you are checking into doesn't feel right, then don't it. Don't let anybody talk you into thinking it is okay. It is okay to say no and you want to have a good time and saying no to anything that doesn't sound right will help you to keep having a good time.

Out of sight, out of mind

You don't want things taken away while you are walking around. Thieves are looking for things and properties to be stolen. They are not going to try to steal something that they don't know is there. If you put your mobile phone down on table, people can see it. You must put it back into your pocket and you won't have to worry about anyone trying to steal it.

Have confidence

This is one of the few times where a little confidence can go a long way. By acting courageous, you will not look like a potential victim to some people. There are times you shouldn't be frightened to make eye contact and gaze someone down. You should also be ready to make a big scene and cause lots of noise if you feel like you need to get attention immediately. Most thieves don't want attention or dealing with sure people. You can feel more at ease when you are ready to act confidently.

For a safe travel, always bring along with you your best travel gears like travel bottles and space bags.
