Dear Friends,
I stopped posting in my blog for more than a year. There was not a meaningful  reason for it. Laziness, unable to concentrate, pressure from home and all those silly reasons which stood as a barrier between us. Most of us are believers of God. Many  are  strong and few are non believers. Myself is a strong one. You,  all my friends are like Gods to me. Nothing can separate us. There are numerous examples, stories, epics, which we come across, define the relation between God and His devotees. When we read it, discuss it, witness it, through any medium like book, movie, TV channel, internet, tear comes out automatically from eyes. I cite one story which I recollect from my memory. This goes like this.
Lord jagannath lives in Shrikhetra at Puri. He comes out of His temple once in a year to visit everybody on the famous Car Festival. The story relates to this.
There is a village named Baligaon near Puri. A poor devotee named as Dasia Bauri lived in the village. He saw the Lord often in his dreams. The offerings from his hand had been accepted directly by the Lord, Himself. It was  so happen that during the Car Festival, one year,  Dasia was in distress and unable to go to the festival  to witness the Lord on His Chariot. With great pain he prayed the Lord, “ Oh God, in my present condition, it is not possible for me to go near your Chariot right now. If You want  me to witness You, then let You remain where You are, till I come.”  Then thousands of devotees tried to move the Chariot and failed till Dasia was present.
As a memory to this, the state tourist department developed Dasia Bauri Pitha near the birth place of Dasia.
“Telling the legend” is one kind of prayer to my great reader friends. Please remain till your Dasia comes to you.  Thanks.
