Prev: RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh on Wednesday set a unique world record on Third International Yoga Day, registering participation of 50 lakh people doing yoga at the same time at 11,000 places across the state. Chief minister Raman Singh did yoga with 600 schoolchildren at indoor stadium in state capital. Nearly 50 lakh people of state practised yoga with chief minister at the same time at 11,000 places in the state, including school students, elderly people, youth, men and women from all sections of society, who enthusiastically came together to practice yoga, setting a record in Golden Book of World Records. Golden Book of World Records observer Santosh Agrawal handed over certificate of the record to the CM. Along with schoolchildren, many public representatives, senior officials of government-administration also joined Singh in the yoga session.
