Sachin Tendulkar started playing cricket for India on November 15,1989 at the age of 16 and played the first one-day international in 1994.From that periods so many centuries, double centuries, Worldcups and records were set. Now at the age of 40 he retired from professional cricket.When child, his coach, Ramakant Achrekar persuaded him to play cricket by giving a coin for not being dismissed and that was his first earning as a player.He was the youngest player ever to enter in international cricket.He is the first batsman in the history of ODIs to score 10,000 runs and scored the highest number of centuries (51) in tests.He is the first batsman to score a double century in an ODI. He has played the highest number of test matches (200).
